The Team Behind AutoQuote3D
Felix Izraitel is a mechanical engineer turned software engineer who founded AutoQuote3D in 2024. He ran Pineapple3D, a 3D print farm in Vaughan, Ontario, from 2017 to 2023, and earlier worked as an Application Specialist at Shop3D.ca, where he built the spreadsheet the team used to price 3D prints.
AutoQuote3D was founded after Felix noticed at Pineapple3D that the faster a shop sent a quote, the more likely it was to win the job, and that spreadsheet-and-slicer quoting could not keep up with inquiry volume. Kenneth Wan, President and CEO of Shop3D.ca, joined as co-founder in November 2024, and Shop3D.ca became AutoQuote3D's official sales partner in December 2024.
