Shopify can be the storefront or the payment

Filaquote is the storefront path. Install the app, set materials, and the quote becomes a draft order your Shopify admin already knows how to invoice, tax, and ship. That is the fit when the Business wants every Order in Shopify.

AutoQuote3D's Widget is not a Shopify cart. Paste the iframe on a Shopify page, the same way you would on another site. Customers pay with Stripe in the Widget unless the Business has connected its Shopify store. That connection creates a draft order and sends the customer to Shopify's checkout link. Shopify admin links can open the Order in AutoQuote3D. Quotes, production status, and customers stay in our dashboard. We do not replace Shopify tax, shipping, or discount apps.

PrintPrice is the other storefront app we could verify

PrintPrice also sells instant quotes from an uploaded model. Its site says it runs on Shopify and on WooCommerce, quotes FDM and resin from the geometry, and starts at $6.99 a month, counting paid orders rather than quotes. We are not comparing it feature by feature here. If the requirement is "the Order has to be a Shopify or WooCommerce order," read their page next to Filaquote's.

If the requirement is a Widget you can also put on a site that is not Shopify, plus a dashboard for Quotes and Orders, that is AutoQuote3D. Quote one Part in the Widget and, if you use Shopify payments, confirm the draft order on the store before you switch.

What AutoQuote3D costs

You can set up a shop and try a quote without paying. Taking customer payments needs a plan or the 14-day trial. We do not take a cut of orders. Stripe still charges their processing fee.

Before you switch

  1. Install or embed each option on a test Shopify store and upload the same STL, 3MF, and STEP file.
  2. See whether the paid Order is a Shopify draft order, a Stripe payment in the Widget, or both.
  3. Check the plan limit you would actually hit: Filaquote's free plan lists 50 quotes a month, and our Starter plan lists 50 quotes a month.

Does AutoQuote3D work on Shopify?

Yes. The Widget embeds on a Shopify page with an iframe. Stripe checkout runs in the Widget. A Business can also connect its Shopify store so checkout creates a draft order and the customer pays on that store's checkout link. The Order remains in AutoQuote3D.

Is AutoQuote3D a Shopify quote app like Filaquote?

No. Filaquote is a Shopify app that prices a model on the storefront and creates a Shopify draft order. AutoQuote3D is the quoting and order product. Shopify is one way to embed the Widget and, when connected, one way to take payment.

Does Filaquote slice with PrusaSlicer?

Their site describes pricing from the mesh: volume, surface area, bounding box, and complexity, plus shell, infill, and an estimated print time. They also read 3MF projects from Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer, and MakerWorld. That is file data, not AutoQuote3D's server-side PrusaSlicer slice.
