Watching an order is not watching a printer

A dashboard should tell you what the customer bought and where the job is. That is different from knowing a printer is jammed at 2am. Figure out which of those is eating your time before you pick a product.

AutoQuote3D covers quotes, paid orders, customers, and analytics. If you need live machine status or to start prints from the software, try Manuflo on your own printers. A brand name on a marketing page does not mean every model or network setup will work.

Manuflo’s comparison of us is out of date

Their comparison page still describes AutoQuote3D as quotes-only and puts us around $175 to start. That is not the product or the prices we publish. Starter is $25 a month. The numbers below come from the same data as our pricing page.

Besides the quote widget, we take payment, track orders, keep customer records, and show analytics. There is a public API and an MCP connection if you want shop data in other tools. None of that is printer control.

What AutoQuote3D costs

You can set up a shop and try a quote without paying. Taking customer payments needs a plan or the 14-day trial. We do not take a cut of orders. Stripe still charges their processing fee.

Before you switch

  1. If you need printer status, try it on your actual machines and network, not a screenshot.
  2. Create a quote, open the customer record, and follow the order through status changes.
  3. Look at quote limits, order limits, seats, and integrations on the plan you would buy.

Common questions

Does AutoQuote3D only generate quotes?

No. Customers can pay through Stripe. You get order tracking, customer records, and analytics. The public API and MCP connection are there if you want shop data in other tools.

Does AutoQuote3D show live printer status?

No. We do not connect to printers. If machine monitoring is the main thing you need, use a tool that documents support for yours.

Does Manuflo have an API, MCP, or AI?

They list a public REST API and AI quote optimization on the roadmap. We did not find a shipped API, MCP server, or Claude connector on their site. AutoQuote3D has a public API and MCP today.
