AutoQuote3D vs DigiFabster
DigiFabster is built for shops that quote more than 3D printing. If you also machine parts or cut sheet metal, that is the main difference. AutoQuote3D is for print shops: a customer uploads a model, gets a price from your materials and rules, and pays. Quotes, orders, and customers stay in one dashboard.

A print quote is not a machining quote
Pricing PLA on an FDM printer and pricing a milled aluminum part are different jobs. If you run a print service, what matters is materials, printer settings, quantity breaks, and whether a customer can go from an uploaded file to a paid order.
AutoQuote3D covers those additive processes with prices you set. DigiFabster also sells CNC and sheet metal quoting. If those jobs are a real part of the business, try them there. A 3D print quote will not stand in for a machining estimate.
Compare the plan you would actually buy
Homepage prices are not enough. Count quote requests, not just paid orders. People try a few materials or quantities before they buy. Then look at seats, branding, and anything you would have to plug in later.
Our plans are listed below. Ask DigiFabster for current terms at your volume. Old forum posts and third-party roundups go stale. Check the subscription, usage limits, payment processing, and any setup or transaction fees on the offer in front of you.

Before you switch
- Quote the same small part, large part, and batch with your real materials and margins.
- If you sell CNC or sheet metal, run a typical job for each process on its own.
- Walk a customer from upload through checkout and check the order that lands in the dashboard.
Don't take your public quote link down while you test. Price a real job and finish an order first. For AutoQuote3D setup, see our tutorials or talk to us about your shop.
Common questions
Is AutoQuote3D a DigiFabster alternative?
If you need customer-facing 3D print quotes and online ordering, yes. We do not quote CNC or sheet metal. DigiFabster does.
Is AutoQuote3D cheaper than DigiFabster?
It depends on the plan you need. Put our published prices next to a current DigiFabster quote for the same usage. We will not pretend ours is cheaper without seeing those numbers side by side.
Does DigiFabster have an API or AI?
Yes. They have an API, webhooks, and an AI quote agent. They do not publish an MCP server or a Claude connector. If you want Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor talking to your shop, that is AutoQuote3D.
