Phasio wants to run the whole shop: quoting, production, and the books, across additive, CNC, and molding. AutoQuote3D is narrower. Customers upload a print file, get a price from your rules, and pay. You manage the order from there. If you need shop-floor terminals and ISO traceability in the same system as CNC quoting, that is their pitch. If you need a quote widget and a dashboard for a print service, that is ours.

## When to pick which

### Choose AutoQuote3D when…

You run a 3D print service and want quoting, checkout, and order tracking without buying a manufacturing operating system.

### Consider Phasio when…

You quote more than 3D printing, need shop-floor terminals or audit trails, or you want one system from RFQ through production.

## They are selling a different size of product

Phasio’s homepage is an operating platform. Quote the part, schedule the work, inspect it, invoice it. AutoQuote3D is the front of a print shop: upload, price, pay, track the order. You can grow into our API and assistants from there. You do not get operator terminals or AS9100 packs from us, and we do not pretend otherwise.

That width is useful if you machine, mold, and print, or if a customer audit needs every station logged. It is a lot if you just want people to stop emailing STLs and waiting for a number.

## The price gap is not subtle

Phasio’s Pro plan is $1,000 a month billed annually. Factory Floor is a conversation. AutoQuote3D starts at $25, with a free shop setup and a 14-day plan trial when you turn on payments. If you need their shop-floor and multi-process stack, that price may make sense. If you need a quote widget and a dashboard for a print service, it probably does not.

They let you try Pro without a credit card. We let you set up a shop and quote a part before you pay. Run the same job through both and look at the invoice you would actually pay.

## What AutoQuote3D costs

You can set up a shop and try a quote without paying. Taking customer payments needs a plan or the 14-day trial. We do not take a cut of orders. Stripe still charges their processing fee.

- **Starter: USD $25/month.** For one-person shops quoting up to 50 jobs a month.

- **Professional: USD $50/month.** For growing shops that need unlimited quotes and their own branding.

- **Service Bureaus: USD $175/month.** For teams managing two businesses, add-ons, and faster support.

The 14-day trial starts when you check out for a subscription, which needs a payment method. Cancel before it ends if you do not want to be charged. [Full plans, limits, and annual billing](https://www.autoquote3d.com/pricing).

## Before you switch

1. Quote a typical 3D print job in both products with your real materials and margins.
2. If you need CNC, molding, or shop-floor terminals, try those on Phasio. We do not do them.
3. If you want Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor looking at quotes and orders, connect our MCP. We did not find that on Phasio.

Don't take your public quote link down while you test. Price a real job and finish an order first. See our [tutorials](https://www.autoquote3d.com/tutorials) or [contact us](https://www.autoquote3d.com/contact).

## Common questions

### Is AutoQuote3D a Phasio alternative?

For a 3D print shop that wants online quoting and orders, yes. Not if you need CNC, molding, shop-floor terminals, and audit trails in one platform.

### Does Phasio have an API or AI?

Yes. They publish a REST API, webhooks, and AI for part analysis and shop-floor routing. What we did not find is an MCP server or a Claude connector. If you want an assistant in Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor talking to your shop, that is the AutoQuote3D side.
